Here at Altura we pride ourselves in the fact every product we make is designed here at Altura HQ in North Yorkshire. Not only are our designs geared specifically towards the UK climate and conditions but we actually test everything here too.

Our test team comprises of a carefully selected cross-section of cyclists spread throughout the UK each with their own personal style, tastes, requirements and level of skill but all with the common bond of being regular, devoted cyclists. This means that whether we are developing a commuting jacket, mountain bike baggies or race mitts we know that each garment will be put through the most vigorous, long term tests to ensure that the item you pick up of the shelf at your local bike shop will be nothing but the best.

In addition our race team TEAM SPORTSCOVER STRATEGIC ALTURA is the perfect test bed for our high end road product, putting in thousands of miles a year only our best designs stand up to the challenge and make it into production.
