Colin Humphrey

Colin's background is in bodybuilding, and only took up cycling in 2006 as a way of keeping fit. These days he's known as the "Beast of the North", a mystical Legend which, if you believe folk lore, he has an unhealthy obsession with over training, the words function, threshold and power.

In recent years he has come to love training in Italy in and around Bordergeria which is on the border of Monte Carlo. At the begining of 2010 he got the opportunity to ride in one of the local Elite crits which he describes as a brilliant experience. Colin's biggest achievements to date are winning the Regional Divisonals in 2008 and in 2009 and winning the Tour of the Border.
