I absolutely love them. They are light, roomy and comfortable. Good side pockets. I like the waist adjustment and the lightly elasticated ankle control.

Excellent Offroad Trousers.

These are my goto trousers for off road riding if the weather is going t be cooler, or layered with tights underneath if it's going to be cold. The material feels really great, the ankle cuff prevents any flapping.
The material offers some weather resistance, but I was also impressed as to how quickly the material dried out after several rain and hail storms.
The sizing was true to the size guide. I chose small based on the Size guide and these are perfectly sized for me. I like the adjuster to cinch in the fit too.

Love the fit but fabric not strong enough

Love the fit and the overall style including the pockets. Would have been five stars if it wasn't for the fact that they are not as rip resistant as I had hoped, and an off in dry conditions lead to a rip in my first pair.

Sizing bigger than expected

I’m a medium size or 30/32waist usually and this trousers are massive even with the strap adjustment I have to make a pleat with the excess fabric. Very lightweight

Use for spring and autumn

These fit somewhere between shorts and thermal trousers. I am 5’8” tall and a 36” waist and they fit perfectly so not sure what size you would require if you are 6’ plus and a 30-34” waist.

feel like a quality item but not sure they offer value

Fitting was true to the guide but not consistent with other items from Altura. Ignore the water repellent bit I wouldn't consider them any more water repellent than pretty much any similar trousers. The popper is small and very firm fitting to the point it feels like it is going to rip out when you undo it. Belt Buckle is nice and sits to the side well. The cut fits well without feeling flappy or constrictive and the fabric is feels really light. Overall they feel like a quality item but not sure they offer value compared similar trousers from other companies.

Bought to try an alternative brand

Bought to try a cheaper pair of mtb pants. They ride well, good stretch and better for warmer days. Unfortunately I find the waist band excessive. I am a 31" waist and the small hangs off me. When tightened up it bunches the fabric and adjusts the fit quite a lot.

Impressed!

I am a 35” waste and 31” inside leg. I bought this garment in size L.

I’m a bit long in the tooth for trail riding these days, but do still commute and engage in some leisure riding. To be honest, I bought these trousers in the expectation that they wouldn’t suit my purpose, and that I’d be returning them. As it turns out, I absolutely love them. They are light, roomy and comfortable. Good side pockets. I like the waist adjustment and the lightly elasticated ankle control. The leg length is spot-on for me. I haven’t yet been able to assess their rain resistance, but my experience of Altura products while riding in rainy conditions reassures me (I have noted that they are not sold as waterproof).

I’m surprised by how much I like this garment in, and am happy to recommend.

Esker eco trousers

Lovely material really comfortable against the skin. Fantastic quality. Love the design however the fit is not quite for me. Lengths perfect, leg size perfect but too baggy on the waste even when tightening the belt as much as I can. I'm normally a 32 long I'd say these a re 36 regular. Sizes need to be more specific.

Nice trousers

Good fit. I like the integral belt. The zip pocket is a bit hard to access. Sensible ankle elastic for cycling.

Don’t want to take them off..

I’ve almost exclusively used a rival brand for years but I was curious about how these would be and I have to say I’m not disappointed at all. On the contrary, they are fantastic. I’m a larger waist and 5’ 9” and the fit is fantastic. The fastening makes sense and my back was never exposed to the elements. The taper suits cycling as you would expect but in a really comfortable way, even with chunky knee pads. The pockets I have to mention as well are ideal. Unfussy and secure, absolutely spot on. The only problem I have is I just end up wearing them around the house and begrudge taking them off. Top marks!

Good trouser,adjuster clip needs redesign

The trousers are fine, but i run a hip packs, and the side adjustment clip came undone three times doing the brecon beacons, the hip pack belt squashed into the clip, causing it to come undone,if you have a hip pack,be aware,if you use something like a camelbak mule rucksack you will be fine
