Nightvision Nevis Women's Waterproof Cycling Jacket

Lovely jacket but does come up small. I sized up and there’s no room for a thick layer underneath.

Terrific waterproof jacket with great styling and highly visible.

Good jacket. Caught in heavy rain first time I went out in it and it kept me dry. My only quibble is that the sleeves are very narrow. In the winter, I'd normally wear a soft shell layer underneath, but I don't think it would fit under this jacket. I've had a Nevis jacket from Altura before and this wasn't an issue, so I don't know why they have changed the fit.

I needed to replace my old altura jacket (size10) and bought the yellow in this size 2. The order arrived quickly but I need to return this item as the cut just feels off. It's tight in the sleeves and not right at the neck. I loved my previous jacket.

Sizings not very good at all very very small compared to UK sizing. Really thin more expensive than a previous purchase which was also very small better much better buy.

The fit was very true to size and looks really smart. Would recommend this jacket

Good jacket but the zips are in a slightly awkward position going too far up under my arm which means it’s difficult to reach whilst riding

It seems the perfect cycling jacket but I ordered it as a Christmas present so not been worn outside yet.

Great for winter cycling…went out in wind and a bit of sleet last evening and was dry and warm. I bought up a size which is working well as space for a couple of layers under.

The fit of this jacket over the shoulders and upper arms was impossible - far too tight to move your arms when on the bike. It didn't my wife at all, unlike her existing Altura jacket which still fits nicely despite being a size smaller.

Being tall and having long arms I don't normally look at women's cycling jackets as don't get the fit . This jacket was perfect. Length in the body ok and the sleeves were a great length. Normally 12 but sized up to 14 after reading other comments.

Fantastic. 3rd day of wearing this the heavens opened on me. Got home. Wetter than an otters pocket on the outside only! Dry and warm, but not too warm. Ventilation is great. Lovely fit, had to size up and probably wouldn't get a thick fleece under it but this jacket is proving so cosy I doubt I will need to. Longer back is something I love on my cycle jackets and this has it. Good sized pockets too.
Gripes, I only have 2. The mesh lining doesn't stay in place in the sleeves very well so it keeps sticking out the cuff. The side pocket zip goes up so far under the arm it can be hard to find the zip pull whilst wearing. Bit fiddly.
Other than that this is amazing and my new favorite commute jacket. Especially now the nights are drawing in. Hi viz fantastic!!

Great quality, sizing small on perceived size go at least one size up. Looks great.

Great jacket…haven’t tried it in the rain yet! But a comfortable fit and good pockets. Am usually a 10/12 but bought a 14 and fits well. Sleeves a touch long but it doesn’t matter as they have adjustable fastenings.

Didn't last - I have two of these jackets - one women's and one mens. Both jackets developed rips along the seams and broken zips within 18 months. Up until that point, they were good though - breathable and waterproof.

The jacket looks nice and I ordered a larger size like others have advised but the sleeves are far too tight. Sent back and was reimbursed promptly.

Excellent fit and great quality and is definitely waterproof. Highly recommend this jacket.

I went a size up after reading reviews, but even the size up still feels a bit smaller on the arms, chest area. I have bought items from Altura before and they always come up smaller. Altura needs to do something about this. The jacket does however is well made, and so far only used it once in a moderate shower and itkept me dry. Decent pockets and zips.

Excellent jacket and in the sale so a real bargain love it

I'm a 12-14 for my top and, reading the reviews, went straight for size 16. It fits OK, apart from the sleeves being a bit too long - but the cuffs are adjustable, so that solves the problem.

The jacket seems thicker and warmer than the Icon one (also in the sale). I bought the purple version, and I'm very pleased as it looks more like a regular jacket than a cycling jacket, making it quite versatile.

Good fit, well made, nice reflective detailing and enough pockets – for the price this is a great jacket, better than some more expensive ones I have seen. Recommended.

This is a good well made jacket. However despite being a size 12 I have had to buy an 18 with the result that the sleeves are far too long. All the reviews say the same but seem to be ignored. Surely this is something that can easily be resolved?

At least one size too small. I note other reviews going back years with the same comment. Why not solve this problem and save people a considerable hassle?

I purchased this jacket to replace an Altura jacket I’d had for 15 years and stupidly ignored the reviews that said this jacket ran small. There’s absolutely no way this jacket is true to size and Altura should take notice of the reviews and address this or at the least provide the measurements online.

18 smaller than 16 I had before

I bought a night vision Nevis some years ago and it has been fantastic, so much so that I wanted to buy a new one…. Sadly the sizing has shrunk and therefore I have had to change brands. They seem to have chopped a lot of material off the shoulders !!
