Well finished with good sizes pockets.
Keeps the wind out well
Comes up small so could have gone a size up.
Overall though a great bit of kit

The phone pocket is very high up on the chest and at an awkward angle therefore making it hard to insert a phone in, also only just deep enough to take an I phone with case.
The zips on all pockets are not very strong and easy broken ( which had happened)
The mesh on the inside of the jacket is baggy particularly on the sleeves.

My old Altura jacket 'died' after 15+ years of service. I ordered this as a replacement and it is a great slim fit, well featured with pockets and reflective areas and it was a great price. Recommended.

Really nice, good fit

Really good cycling jacket - comfortable and waterproof. Good quality materials and built well. Nice lining inside. Found sizing to be accurate.

Good fit and fabric is quiet. Nice and bright.
One issue for me is that the net liner in the sleeves rolls down and out of the bottom of the sleeve when I put my arm in,so I have to try to tuck it back up. Love the side pockets but no rear pocket like I am used to.

I bought this jacket after doing a lot of research on mid-priced cycling jackets. The jacket is thin but still keeps you relatively warm in cool weather. It has small reflective areas for riding in darker weather. The colour also looks great on. The only real downside to this jacket is its sizing. It is on the small size so you will need to size up at least one, if not two, sizes.

After a problematic start with the courier, a replacement was resent to me, and delivered correctly.
Have used the jacket a few times now and is all good,

Purchased as gift for relative - he says its just what he needs to tempt him back out on his bike in winter.

A great disappointment: over 20 years I have had three, so ordered my fourth, but it is now so tight I struggled to put it on, espectially the too tight sleeves. I had, therefore, to return and now await my refund.

I bought this jacket to replace my worn out Night Vision. My night Vision is an XL. I bought the Nevis as a 2XL. I couldn't do the Zip up without the jacket feeling very tight. The 2XL was smaller than the XL. Someone has got the sizing totally wrong. The jacket itself seemed ok. I have returned the jacket. I also bought a pair of trousers and they were the same. I have now lost out on the Black Friday deal.

Lively jacket and fit unfortunately after 5 months the zip on pocket has broken and no way of returning.

Ordered a medium, came up very small for that size, all over, but especially the tight sleeves and shoulders

Bit tight around the shoulders & inner lining is a bit loose which means I have to tuck it back into the sleeve after putting it on. However, the waterproofness is excellent for the price.

Nice jacket, kept me dry, good commuter option.

Looks well made with a comfortable close fit, perfect for rainy commutes, if you wear this over bulky clothing possibly size up but over Lycra it’s fine.

Not tried it yet but usually Altura products do not disappoint.

Bought for my son, chest measurements put him smack bang in the middle of men's size: small. However across the shoulders was way too tight, he's quite skinny so a bit of a surprise.

A great price in the sale, however sale ended and exchanges are not possible. Disappointing overall.

Not a complete review as to small to use. I've been a medium size since adulthood, but the it was to tight on wrist and shoulders to use.

As others have mentioned, I would normally go for XL, but after reading the other reviews went for XXXL as I wanted a bit of air space rather than a tight fit and the option to wear a thick second layer in the winter. As it turns out there wasn't much "air space" across the chest at all. On a more positive front, seems like a good jacket, and I'm 6'2" and arm and body length was ok.

Very pleased with this jacket

Bought to replace an old Altura jacket i had for over 10 years. Wore it today in the lovely Welsh rain and kept me perfectly dry, nice lightweight jacket that does the job...would definitely recommend. Got a size up to a large rather than my usual medium as stated in other reviews and fit is spot on

Bought a medium. A bit snug, especially around the arms so it was returned which was a shame, I really loved it. a larger size wasn't available at the time.

I'd recommend this jacket based on initial quality and feel. Can't say how it performs in the rain though, as the one I order (medium) was 'snug' - more like a small. I'd probably rate it higher if sizing was more in line with a typical medium or large. (Yes I know, it's cycling gear and for some reason everything has to be smaller than normal!)

I purchased this jacket after trying a number of different ones in the market. I initially bought the large version but realised I should have got the medium. The return process was simple and I had the replacement medium version in four days. Fits well, and is comfortable.

Nice jacket, good thickness although it is a little heavy, it won’t pack down to a pocket size.

Waterproof so far ... lack of underarm vents means it gets very warm inside when zipped up.

Nice jacket but the breast pock leaks. Usually a very good jacket with altura as I've bought many over the years but this change of design on the front pockets doesn't work, well at least on my jacket.

Having got soaked a few weeks back, I needed a lightweight fully waterproof, highly visible jacket and this fulfils all my needs. Very similar to a jacket I had some years ago. Even the zip seals itself as you do it up. Totally recommend this to anyone who wants to ride seriously in the rain.
