Great value, capacious bag.

I use this bag on an Orro Terra C when Bikepacking, it swallows a tent, chair, sleep mat, 2 x bag liners and an awning, total weight 4.5 kgs. Just done 1700 kms with it, I am slightly concerned that the hanging loops will start to fray/rip but no sign of this yet. To keep from sagging onto the front tyre I use foam buckles as supplied to prop it out from the stem. Ideally it would feature longer side straps that could be looped behind and over the bars and snugged up to help keep the bag high and take the weight off the loops. Air valve is a crucial part, without it, I wouldn’t be able to stuff it, but I leave the valve open and never had a drip of water in. Front pocket v. useful for passport and valuables.

It could be a perfect bag

It could be a perfect bag. I a, a seasoned tourer / bike packer and have tried many bags over the years. This could be a great bag as it has a good capacity between the small 5 liter options and the large 15+ liter options (zeitgeist etc). However I suggest to add some form or shape to it, especially a more rigid bottom. This will keep shape and enable hard items to be stored. What I did is to add a click fix system to the back to enable quick release and further from cables and also added rings and cord to pull its top part up and stabilize its movement. Also the buckles can tend to separate to the sides so I added a connector between them. So now it works, but could be easily enhanced with little redesign.

Saggy bag

The waterproofing is excellent, though a couple of miles into my first gravel ride with this bag and I could hear the tyre scuff the floppyish base of the bag a few times.

I have carbon forks with no mounting thread for a front pannier, so I am now having to save up to buy a stem mounted 7Roads 'Nest steerer rack' or handlebar mounted Jack the Rack to securely lift the base of this bag around the tyre.
